About the website

This website is an independent guide based on the open-source CleanYourTV project by Gathin23. It is not the original project website and is not affiliated with television manufacturers, Google, Amazon, or Apple.

The guide is free to use. This version has no paid plan, subscription, purchase, or remote installation service. A coding assistant or other third-party service you choose may have separate usage fees.

Before making changes

Use the project only on a device you own or have permission to manage. Compatibility depends on the exact model, region, and firmware. Read the instructions in the source package, keep backups and package-state records, review proposed changes, and verify your remote, inputs, sound, and casting afterward.

The website provides information and links; it does not connect to or modify your television. The illustrated TV preview is a concept, not a guarantee of the interface or performance on your device. Changing the launcher does not remove advertisements inside streaming apps.

Recovery and security

The provided restore tools act on recorded package lists and settings. They are not a full system image and do not reverse every possible manual change. Keep your original records. Close debugging connections and revoke authorizations when finished.

Sources and licensing

The downloadable source package includes the project's MIT license. That license applies to the upstream materials it covers; it does not automatically apply to this website's underlying template or third-party resources. Respect the applicable copyright and license notices when reusing code or materials.

Documentation and third-party tools can change. No specific device outcome, speed improvement, or uninterrupted availability is promised. Check the current source package documentation before acting on a guide.
