YOUR APPS FIRSTYou can clean your TV without root. Disable selected packages, preserve essential services, and leave system apps installed.
SMALL, REVIEWED STEPSBefore you clean your TV, save package states and launcher settings on your computer for the restore tools.
RESTORE OPTIONSKnow the scope To clean your TV is to improve its system home screen; ads inside streaming apps remain.
Clean your TV only after checking its model, region, and firmware. A familiar brand name does not guarantee that debugging or a replacement launcher is available.
Read compatibility guidanceTo clean your TV, first confirm the exact device
and its available developer settings.
The guided Android launcher workflow does not
support Fire TV. Home replacement is restricted.
These operating systems cannot run the Android
launcher included in this setup.
Before you clean your TV, keep the exact package list and original state records. Restoration should follow those records, rather than a guessed list copied from a different television.
Read the restore guideRestore records are not a full system backup. They do not undo unrelated edits or remove the new launcher.
Read connection and safety adviceUnderstand the tools, limits, and recovery options before changing your television.
Read troubleshootingTo clean your TV, review unwanted manufacturer services and install a simpler home screen. This guide does not clean the panel or root your TV.
No. Clean your TV changes the home screen, not advertisements inside streaming apps. Subscriptions and playback restrictions remain unchanged.
Start with Android TV or Google TV. Before you clean your TV, check the exact model, region, firmware, and debugging options. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS are unsupported.
Clean your TV is free, with no account or subscription. A coding assistant may charge separately; experienced users can follow the technical docs themselves.
Keep package lists and state records before you clean your TV. Restore tools use those records; they are not a complete system backup.
Preserve essential system components. When you clean your TV, test the remote, HDMI, audio, and casting. Restore affected packages if something stops working.
After you clean your TV, disable debugging, revoke authorizations, and restart. The new home screen works without an open debugging connection.
Use the free guide to clean your TV carefully, with your own apps and a documented way back.
